Rosemary Square Eats

Have you been to Rosemary Square (formerly CityPlace) recently? You need to check out their dining selections now! With over 25 restaurants from casual to sit down, the restaurants are varied from Mexican to Burgers to Italian to Japanese to Steak House. Here are some of their newest additions and one upcoming restaurant.

Bonita’s

Recently opened and serving up tacos, tostados and more, this restaurant concept comes from duo Ricky and Niria Perez, the owners of Zipitios. Their flavorful menu features Mexican and Salvadoran cuisine such as chorizo and beef albóndigas (meatballs), chicken with mole, carne guisada (steak with peppers in a tomato-chile sauce), braised lamb barbacoa, simmered mushrooms and much more. They pride themselves on the slow braise on their meats and vegetables.

Pura Vida

Pura Vida in Rosemary Square is the first location outside of Miami. Pura Vida is a health-conscious café created by husband and wide team, Omer and Jennifer Horev. Featuring locally sourced and organic ingredients, it is a destination where both vegetarian and carnivore can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner together. Pura Vida offers an array of organic açaí bowls, superfood-packed smoothies, freshly squeezed juices, salads, wraps, sandwiches, and more.

Planta

Coming soon to Rosemary Square is Planta, led by internationally celebrated Chef David Lee and acclaimed restaurateur Steven Salm, following their restaurant’s success in Toronto and Miami. Known for its chic and sophisticated interiors, the eatery will offer an elevated dining experience with an innovative 100-percent plant-based menu that promotes environmental sustainability. Here’s an idea of what that menu will look like based on their South Beach menu – plant-based sushi rolls (like spicy watermelon “ahi” with scallion and sesame “masago”), hearty entree salads (as in split pea fritters, cauliflower, lentils, greens, mint, cilantro, parsley, tahini and sumac), pizzas (like one topped with mushrooms, squash, arugula, almond Parmesan, cashew mozzarella and truffle vinaigrette), small bites (croquettes, ceviche, dumplings and such) and main plates (Planta veg burger, hearts of palm “crab” cakes, orecchiette pasta with sundried tomato and basil pesto and udon noodles with truffle-mushroom cream). Add to that sides, dessert and weekly specials. Hopefully opening in a few months.

So, head over to Rosemary Square and enjoy these new additions as well as other restaurants like Il Bellagio, City Pizza, Saito’s Japanese Steakhouse, Brio Tuscan Grille, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, The regional Kitchen & Public House, City Cellar Wine Bar & Grill and Cheesecake Factory to just name a few.
