Since we are still social distancing, now is the perfect time to stroll through one of our local gardens away from the hustle and bustle of crowds. Where? Try one of these three lush and lavish garden retreats.

Mounts Botanical Gardens in West Palm Beach has a history spanning more than 40 years, (Palm Beach County’s oldest and largest botanical garden) located behind Palm Beach International Airport, the Garden is a hidden gem. Visitors to this 14-acre tropical oasis will see an acclaimed collection of 25 display gardens containing more than 2,000 species of tropical and sub-tropical plants, including Florida native plants, exotic and tropical fruit trees, herbs, palms, roses, cactus, bromeliads and much more. Over in Palm Beach (on the island) is a green oasis in the middle of the Four Arts Campus, The Philip Hulitar Sculpture Garden and Four Arts Botanical Gardens have provided a world-class garden experience to visitors of the Palm Beaches since 1938. Down in Delray Beach is Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens, a 16-acre retreat that surrounds Morikami’s two museum buildings with expansive Japanese gardens containing strolling paths, resting areas, a world-class bonsai collection and lakes teeming with Koi fish and other wildlife.
